Maureen and Michael’s wedding was held at St. Justin Martyr’s in Eastlake Ohio on October 22, 2011. The photos began at the bride parents Mary and Gordon’s home in Eastlake along with photos of the bride’s maids. The weather was warm and sunny the perfect fall day in Northeast Ohio. The photos of Michael with his mom Linda and step dad Todd were taken at the church prior to the wedding. The bride was escorted by her father Gordon down the isle to her waiting groom Michael. The ceremony was about 45 minutes where the couple exchanged there vows and rings with the ceremony being completed by Reverend Kevin M. Liebhardt Pastor. I have worked with father Kevin on many occasions in the past photographing wedding for a few of his relatives. The couple then greeted the guest and exited the church with the guest blowing bubbles at the couple.
The family and bridal party photos were taken on the alter of the church. I had then headed to Squires Castle in Willoughby Hills to have the bridal party photos taken with the fall foliage trees and castle as the backdrop. We then headed to Maureen’s Aunts home in Mentor for the remaining photos by the large back yard pond.
The reception hall looked beautiful with the table draped with the crisp linens with the candle centerpieces. The festivities were started with the bridal party intros followed by the first dance then to the cake cutting. The maid of honor’s toast followed by the best man’s speech was completed then dinner was served family style.
The father daughter danced with Maureen and Gordon followed by the mother son dance with Michael and Linda. The dance floor was then open for the entire guest to dance the night away. The bouquet and garter toss were followed by the remounting of the garter.
The music and Emcee for the night was Doug with Blazen DJ he played music of all styles that kept the guest on the dance floor through the night.
