July 19, 2011

Candace and Derek’s wedding was held at Mooreland Mansion in Mentor on July 15, 2011. The photos began with the bride and her parents followed by the brides maids and a few photos of son Gavin. The bride was escorted by her dad Steve down the freshly manicured grass.
The day has been sunny and the heat and humidity were building as the day progressed. The ceremony was held outdoors in the rose garden at 5:30 PM. The ceremony lasted about 15 minutes. The couples all looked amazing as they headed down the isle after the ceremony meeting in the gardens for photographs of family and bridal party. I then took the remaining outdoor photos for the bride and groom along with the bridal party around the grounds at Mooreland.
The grounds at Mooreland are a beautiful place for photos with the mansion making a perfect backdrop for the photos. The cocktail hour and toast by the best man and maid of honor and a thank you speech by the groom Derek were held on the back terrace.
The reception hall looked beautiful with the table draped with the crisp linens with the vivid red accents. The guest entered the dinning hall and were preparing for the fantastic dinner. The festivities were started by the cake cutting followed the first dance. The father daughter mother son danced followed by the bouquet and garter toss. Candace then shared a special dance with her son Gavin. The music was a mix of all styles by DJ Jesse Webb Entertainment that kept the guest on the dance floor through the night.
Best wishes Candace and Derek
